Champions XI FAQ
What is Champions XI?
Draft eleven players from European Cup and Champions League history, reveal a manager and simulate a European campaign. Choose a mixed-club Classic draft, a single-club Club Challenge or the shared Daily Challenge.
What makes a perfect 15-0 run?
Win all eight league-phase matches and qualify directly for the Round of 16. Then win both legs of the Round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final, plus the final: fifteen match wins. Winning the trophy after a draw, defeat or play-off route is still a championship, but not a perfect 15-0.
How do I pick and place a player?
Spin to reveal a club-season squad, select one player, then tap a compatible open position on your pitch. You do not need to drag players. Each player can appear only once in your XI.
Can a club-season appear more than once?
Club Challenge allows repeat seasons from your chosen club, with one player pick per spin. Classic drafts from different clubs. Club draws use only accepted European Cup and Champions League seasons, not domestic-only squads.
What does difficulty change?
Easy gives five rerolls, Balanced three and Brutal one. In Club Challenge, difficulty changes only this reroll budget; currently eligible seasons have equal chances. In Classic, difficulty also changes the mix of stronger and weaker club-seasons.
Which ratings are used?
Classic and Daily use Prime ratings. Club Challenge defaults to Season ratings, with Prime available. Season reflects the player-season; Prime reflects the player’s career peak. Some historical ratings are estimates rather than exact FIFA edition records.
How does the Daily Challenge work?
Everyone gets the same daily formation, era, difficulty and seeded draws. Your first completed run is the official attempt for that UTC day. Replays are practice and do not replace your official result.
